Voicemail Greeting Maker is a free tool for turning a written script into a clean, professional voicemail greeting. You type what you want callers to hear, pick a voice, listen to a preview, and download the audio as an MP3 or an 8kHz WAV ready for your phone system.
Why we built it
Recording a voicemail greeting sounds simple until you do it: background noise, a stumble on your company name, a fifth take that still sounds stiff. Small businesses often end up with the default robotic greeting, or one recorded years ago that lists the wrong hours.
We wanted a faster way to get a clear greeting you can update in a minute when your hours, staff, or holiday schedule change.
What we offer
- A free generator. Up to 5 greetings per day, no account needed.
- Phone-ready formats. MP3 for most apps and VoIP services, and 8kHz mono WAV for PBX and desk-phone systems.
- Example scripts. Business, after-hours, holiday, and out-of-office greetings you can copy or generate directly.
- Setup guides. Step-by-step instructions for changing your greeting on iPhone, Android, major US carriers, Google Voice, and business phone systems.
What we don't do
We don't clone voices, imitate real people, or offer celebrity voices. Every greeting uses a stock AI voice from our text-to-speech providers. We don't require an account for the free generator, and we don't sell your data. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly what we store and for how long.
