Terms of Service – Voicemail Greeting Maker

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of voicemailgreetingmaker.com (the "Service"), operated by Voicemail Greeting Maker ("we," "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

The Service

The Service lets you convert text into synthetic speech using stock AI voices and download the result as an audio file. Free use doesn't require an account and is limited to 5 generations per day with standard voices. Paid features, including premium voices, background music, and batch generation of several prompts at once, require an account and credits. Generated files are available for 7 days and then deleted. We may change, limit, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

Accounts

You can create an account by signing in with your Google account; we don't offer other sign-in methods. You're responsible for keeping your Google account secure, and for activity on your account. We use the email address on your Google account to contact you about purchases. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms.

Credits, plans, and payments

Credits. One credit pays for one generation. Credits are deducted when a generation succeeds. If a generation fails on our side, the credit is not charged or is returned.
Credit packs are one-time purchases. Purchased credits don't expire.
Monthly plan. The monthly plan renews automatically each month and adds a set number of credits at each renewal. Unused plan credits roll over while your subscription is active. You can cancel at any time, and you won't be charged for later months.
Payments are processed by our payment providers, Waffo and PayPal, under their own terms. Purchases made through Waffo are sold by Waffo as merchant of record, which handles the payment and any applicable sales tax or VAT. We don't receive or store your full card number. Prices are shown on the Pricing page and may change, but a change won't affect a purchase you've already made.
Credits have no cash value, can't be transferred to another account, and can only be used on the Service.

Refunds

If you haven't used any of the credits from a purchase, you can request a full refund within 14 days of that purchase by emailing support@voicemailgreetingmaker.com from the address on your account. Once credits from a purchase have been used, that purchase isn't refundable, except where the law requires otherwise. This doesn't limit any rights you have under the consumer laws where you live.

Acceptable use

You are responsible for the text you submit and how you use the resulting audio. You agree not to use the Service to:

impersonate any person, business, or organization, or mislead anyone about who is speaking or calling;
create content for fraud, phishing, scams, or robocalls that violate telemarketing or caller-consent laws;
create content that is illegal, harassing, threatening, hateful, defamatory, or sexually explicit;
infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights;
get around usage limits or bot protection, including through automated or scripted requests; or
interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.

We may block requests, refuse to generate content, or restrict access if we believe these Terms are being violated.

Your content and generated audio

You keep whatever rights you have in the text you submit. You give us permission to process that text, send it to our speech providers, and store it and the generated audio for up to 7 days, to operate the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You may use the generated audio as a voicemail greeting, on-hold message, or similar recording on phone lines you own or are authorized to manage. Other uses, such as advertising, broadcast, or resale, may be subject to additional restrictions from our text-to-speech providers. You are responsible for confirming that your use is permitted.

The voices are synthetic stock voices. They don't represent, and must not be presented as, the voice of any real person.

No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that generated audio will be accurate, or that it will work with any particular phone, carrier, or phone system.

Setup instructions on this site are provided for general guidance. Phone menus and carrier procedures change, so check with your device maker or provider if something doesn't match.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or business, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $50.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of content you submit or your violation of these Terms.

Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers, including a speech synthesis provider, Cloudflare (hosting, storage, and security), Neon (database hosting), Google (advertising and sign-in), Waffo and PayPal (payments), Resend (purchase emails), PostHog (product analytics), and Sentry (error reporting). Your use of their features may also be subject to their terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in [Jurisdiction], unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll revise the "Last updated" date above, and continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
